SANDEFJORD, Norway - Moody International Scandinavia is pleased to announce a major contract with Scandinavia’s leading energy company, Statoil ASA.

Statoil ASA has awarded Moody with a 5 year Frame Agreement contract for various services including Worldwide inspection and control of OCTG and line pipe at pipe mills; inspection of anti-corrosion processes and weight coating at coating yards;  inspection of anodes and various components; surveillance during pipe installation offshore in the North Sea; and, supply of technical personnel to Statoil.

This new Frame Agreement is a major extension to the close cooperation Moody Scandinavia and Statoil have had over the past years and will make Statoil one of the top key clients to Moody worldwide.  This agreement will be coordinated both from the Scandinavian head office in Sandefjord as well as the OCTG / Pipe task force centre in Glasgow, Scotland, with work tasks being executed in Norway and worldwide.
