SAO PAULO, Brazil - Moody International Brasil performed a training and review session with its local inspection team on January 6, 2007. The purpose was to update coordinators and inspectors on the following information:

•   Quality system adopted by

     MI Brazil (ISO9001/2000)

•   SOP’s

Representatives of client ALCOA were introduced to attendees and during the session ALCOA’s procedures and work systems were also reviewed and discussed. 

ALCOA representative Mr. Renato Lopes participated in process improvement discussions and praised Moody’s initiative.  Mr. Lopes is the Manager of Inspection Coordination for the Alumina Refinery Expansion, a USD 1.8 Billion project.
